Rainfall

Into each life 'tis said,

"A little rain must fall"

But into the lives of some it seems

There's rain enough for all.

Most times these showers which come to us

Are blessings in disguise

And, when the rain is over

We've each become more wise.

If the ground received no moisture,

The little seeds would die.

If we receive no experience,

No wisdom is laid by.

Without wisdom, there's no gain

To help our fellow man

So you see these lives of ours

Are built around a plan.

So when rainfall comes to you

Accept it without question,

For when moisture falls on fertile ground

There's growth and not recession.

Then when the time has come

To reap what has been sown,

Your harvest will be bounteous

For your life will be "Full Blown".

Thoughts for Today

Each precious day that opens

Has a magic story to be told,

How grateful I am that God has chosen me

As one to help it all unfold.

All those precious moments

Caressed by His loving hand,

Can be made into opportunities,

If we but so demand.

So we must draw upon our resources,

Give each of them a call,

For knowledge buried and unused

Is the greatest sin of all.

Then, with prayers of affirmation,

Our faith is made aware,

That we must place our confidence in Him,

And in His loving care.
